Why we built Lypso
Payroll in Barbados is genuinely hard to get right. Rates change — the April 2025 RRF Levy caught a lot of businesses off-guard. NIS ceilings reset mid-year. TAMIS returns have a specific format that most global software doesn't know about. Yes — Lypso integrates with ZKTeco terminals (the most common biometric time clock brand in the Caribbean) on the Growth plan. Employees clock in on the terminal as normal, and attendance data pushes to Lypso automatically.

Lypso is being built with QuickBooks-ready payroll journal exports because QuickBooks is widely used by Barbados businesses and accounting firms. Direct QuickBooks API integration is planned, but the first version will focus on clean exports that accountants can import or post into QuickBooks Online.
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Pay runs are locked after confirmation — no retroactive edits without an audit record. Your data is never shared or sold.
Yes. Employee data, payroll history, and reports are all exportable. If you ever leave Lypso, your data leaves with you.
